At the same time you will be required to sit and pass your Hazard Perception Test (HPT). The pass score is 57 out of a possible 75 marks.
Before you take the Part 1 exam you should be scoring well into the 90% area on your theory and close to or above 70 in the Hazard Perception test.
Please note that although you have unlimited attempts at passing your ADI Part 1 exam, both the Theory and the HPT must be passed at the same time.
The ADI part 1 exam is the beginning of your road to success and you will need to build on this knowledge and use it throughout the whole of YOUR course.
n.b. From the date of your ADI Part 1 exam pass, you have 2 years to complete Parts 2 and 3. Failure to do so will result in having to restart the course from Part 1.
